Mission Statement

Mark Edwards Foundation

To enhance the sporting lives of young people by helping to overcome financial barriers.

The objects of the Foundation are:

To assist young people in the achievement and development of amateur sporting excellence and health, by using the funds collected to be distributed for clothing, equipment, sports education, coaching mentoring or club membership fees as appropriate.

It is our hope and aspiration that we will help as many young people as is possible within our income, and no sport will be excluded from consideration.

It is our expectation that the Foundation will not make cash dispersals to any applicant, but will instead purchase as required the goods or fees, in part or in whole, that the applicant needs.

We will endeavour to re-visit all applicants who receive an award, after a passage of time, to view their progress and offer our support.
